I DON’T know how Simon Cowell does it but he does get the big hitters on the X-Factor and now AliciaKeys and Rihanna have both officially confirmed that they will appear on the show.
Rihanna will perform Russian Roulette while Alicia will belt out new track Doesn’t Mean Anything on November 29 results show.
CHRIS Brown has finally unveiled the video for cracking ballad Crawl.
The video features the super hot Cassie who probably has nothing better to do with her time now that her music has taken a back seat – and what is with that weird hair do girl?
While Showbiz does not tolerate his behaviour towards Rihanna, everything that he has released from his upcoming album Graffiti has been so far, so good.
OKAY we know that bands do not make a lot of money from selling records anymore because of illegal downloads etc
But I never thought I would see the day that a band such as Westlife would cash in on the celebrity endorsed perfume craze to make up for lack of funds elsewhere.
Following in the footsteps of Britney Spears, Christina Aguliera, Kylie Minogue, Peter Andre…the list goes on and on, Irish crooners Westlife have released the originally titled eau de perfume Westlife X in time for Christmas…surely cover version would have been a better title?
Yes girls you can smell how Nicky, Shane, Kian and Mark want you to and boys you could soon as well now that the lads are also planning on releasing an aftershave.
Nicky said: “We had lots of different samples to choose from and this is going back to even before we took a year off, to make the exact scent we wanted.”
Mark added: “We custom designed all the packaging as well. We like to get involved in our artwork, whether it’s for our tour or whether it’s for our album so it’s something that we kind of took pleasure in doing.”
Check out the lads doing what they do best with new song What About Now -
Matt Damon could be taking on the role of Jason Bourne again if the script is good enough.
The actor will meet with the director of the film Paul Greengrass to discuss a possible fourth instalment of the spy series and he has confirmed that he will revive the role if the plot is right.
He said: “We both love the character but if we do another we want to get it right. The only thing worse than not making another would be to make a bad one, so we have to proceed carefully.”
Showbiz is excited as the Bourne films are just so good
Janet Jackson has finally confirmed what we all already knew that she has split from her boyfriend Jermaine Dupri – she is too hot for him anyway.
The singer, who has just released another greatest hits album, was rumoured to have parted ways with producer Dupri back in July and now she has spilled the beans on the split.
She told Atlanta’s Bert Show her and Durpi are still on good terms and she said: “I’m not the type of girl that stays in touch with your ex like that. But Jermaine is one of my best friends. I love him to death. We’re still connected. We’re still good friends. We still talk.”
It has been said that the couple who were together for seven years split because Jermaine suffocated Janet and was involved in all aspects of her life including producing her last two albums which surprisingly bombed.
Here is a sneak look at behind the scenes of her video for her new single Make Me.
MARRIED The Hills’s couple Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are reportedly looking to land their own reality TV show – TV execs out there, don’t do it.
The pair, who rose to fame on MTV’s The Hills, are making their way round the networks with an idea of doing a show that focuses entirely on their day-to-day lives.
Although they have no plans no leave The Hills, only because they are desperate to stay in the limelight, on the plans for a new show Heidi said: “”You don’t get to see our everyday lives and what we do.”
Do we really want to see their day-to-day lives and what they do?
One of Showbiz’s favourite bands TheStrokes debut album has been named the best of the decade by music magazine NME.
The New York rockers This Is It was voted by people as the greatest in the last 10 years beating the likes of The Libertines Up The Bracket, which came second and Primal Scream’s XTRMNTR.
Frontman Julian Casablancas said: “”It’s totally crazy! I thought it was great when I heard.
“But does it mean it’s a good musical decade or a bad musical decade? I don’t know, I’m such a bad judge of my own stuff. “Recording the album was fun. It was stressing, it was exciting. I don’t want to get carried away, but I’m pretty damn psyched with myself.”
All we need now is for Julian and co to ditch the solo stuff and get back together.
Here is one of Showbiz’s favourite tracks off the album…
